The free base

SizeUp – Selection Inspector Free

SizeUp is the panel every Pixel Doodles tool speaks through — one clear place in the editor that shows what an operation is doing while you do it, instead of four plugins each bolting on a widget of their own. On its own it already sizes up whatever you select: real world size, distance to floor, distance between two actors, one-click transform copy, a live transform card with named undo, and a warning when duplicates hide inside each other. Free, because the others need it to be readable — and it is out first.

The tools

Grab & Move In development Requires SizeUp — free

Move, rotate and scale the way you do in a DCC — modal, keyboard-first, with snapping and numeric entry. Then the composition tools nobody else bundles with it: mirror, align, distribute, array, randomize, match.

LevelSmith In development Requires SizeUp — free

Click to place one prop flush with the slope it lands on — or scatter a handful, each finding its own footing. Placement follows the surface normal, so nothing floats and nothing sinks; scatter jitters rotation and scale so a handful never looks like a row.

FaceSnap In development Requires SizeUp — free

Snap pieces face to face and build modular kits without fighting the grid — surfaces meet and orientations agree, so a piece arrives already turned the right way. Two loose props magnetise centre to centre.

They ship on Fab when they're ready — SizeUp first, and free. Early builds, release dates and the ugly parts all land on the Discord before anywhere else.

These came out of building the dungeons for Islands of the Blessed — that story is in devlog #05.
